Gordon Stories
Passing on the family legacy
Why Gordon Stories?
The reason for this website Is because some of the happiest memories of my life were listening to the stories told by my father, mother, aunts and uncles. Later as we got older my contemporaries and I continued the tradition of storytelling and embellishment.
Now the first storytellers of my life are gone, and my generation is quickly reaching that point. Therefore, I feel these stories should be told before they are forgotten.
It is my hope that this website will bring humor and laughter to all the family members who read it.
One proviso that we should all agree on is that the stories herein should lift our hearts and lighten our daily loads and not add to them. Therefore, let’s pass on humorous and uplifting stories and not those that might cause pain and dismay.
